About Tower Learning Centre Independent School

We are a Department for Education (DfE) registered school, regulated by Ofsted as an Independent School in Blackpool. We provide full-time and dual-roll provision for young people who face challenges accessing mainstream education for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Exclusion from mainstream school
  • At risk of exclusion
  • Previously home educated
  • Children looked after
  • School phobia
  • Victims of bullying
  • Mental health needs

Our approach is holistic and flexible, offering both full-time and part-time programmes tailored to each pupil’s individual needs. Designed for students aged 14–16, our provision supports those who have disengaged or are at risk of disengaging from mainstream education.

With capacity for up to 20 pupils, our dual and single-roll programmes provide a smaller, nurturing environment where every learner receives personalised support and an education plan that helps them thrive.

Commissioned places now being taken for 2025/26
